Pumping in the office

Must refill the thermapot when it almost finish

Small fridge provided, enough to keep our milks

White leather seat

This is my 3rd experience pumping milk at workplace. Obviously there is nothing new for me. We are lucky because our company kind enough to provide one Nursing room. That is the place where we accomplish the business comfortably. It locked all the time. We have to collect the key from the receptionist in order to use the room. There is one log book whereby we jot down our name, handphone number and the time that we take the key. This is to ensure that nobody take the key and forgot to return the key as we only share one key
among us. No duplication of the key. If the key is not there, it means somebody was inside the room so just knock the door and it will 'not really wide' open for you.
I am amazed that this time, there are so many mothers who also breastfeeding and expressing milk in the office. Keep up mothers! We knows what's best to our baby during their early years. It can't be compromised with anything else. In nursing room, we always exchange ideas, sharing experience and listening to each others story or maybe sometimes problems. We enjoyed it very much.
My time to accomplish my 'project tenusu' will be at 11.00am and 4.30pm, provided that i already expressing one time at home at 8.00am before off to office. If i didn't do it at home, i will need to express 3 times - 9.00am,1.00pm and 4.30pm. Most of the time, i will get 5-7 oz per session. Let say if i got average 6oz, for 3 times will be 18 oz total for the day. That will be enough for baby's tommorow's consumption. I will take about 15-20 minutes for every session.
1st day when I resume working, i don't have any stock at all. It is because, i already throw away some of my stock due to milk already reached expiry date since my baby don't want to drink frozen EBM. Reluctantly, i have to throw away. There is time, when i didn't express more that what she need, i have to top up with formula milk. i always standby formula milk for emergency since i have n0 EBM stock. So far, my baby seldom drink formula milk as my EBM is enough to cater for her need. Alhamdulillah.
Sometimes it gives sort of motivation to keep on giving the best Mother's milk to your baby when you have a bunch of friends who also did the same. This is what DiGi had contributed to our personal life. In this sense, DiGi deserve to won Corporate Social Responsibilty even to their own staff.
